2nd ISC General Assembly
The second ISC General Assembly is taking place virtually over five days, 11–15 October 2021. ISC members and affiliated bodies are warmly invited to participate throughout the week, which will see the elections of the incoming Governing Board, the approval of the 2022–2024 budget, and discussions on ISC strategy and activities.
The general public are welcome to participate as guests in all sessions on 13 October, which will feature a panel discussion with ISC Patrons Mary Robinson, Vint Cerf and Ismail Serageldin, a high-level panel discussion on COVID-19 Scenarios Outcomes, the announcement of the first ISC Awards programme laureates, and more.
Simultaneous interpretation from English to both French and Spanish will be provided on all conference days.
The International Science Council (ISC) is a non-governmental organization and the largest global science organization of its type uniting the natural and social sciences. With a unique global membership of over 200 organizations and bodies, primarily international scientific unions and associations, and national and regional scientific organizations such as science academies and research councils, the ISC seeks to advance science as a global public good.
