The International Science Council is proud to partner with the Frontiers Planet Prize in recognizing and rewarding exceptional scientists working in sustainability science.
Frontiers Research Foundation has launched the Planet Prize to recognize and reward exceptional scientists. Three prizes worth a total of CHF 3 million (~USD $3.2m) are awarded each edition to the world’s most innovative sustainability scientists who are able to offer globally scalable solutions which protect and restore planetary health. All domains of science are considered.
We invite you and your networks to join our information session providing more information on the overall mission and objectives of the Planet Prize, the eligibility criteria for scientists, the mechanics of the Prize and the role of the ISC in engaging its Members around this scientific competition.
An online information session led by Jean-Claude Burgelman (Frontiers Planet Prize Director), Gilbert De Gregorio, (Frontiers Planet Prize Associate Director) and by Salvatore Aricò the ISC CEO will be held on 25 June (11:00 UTC/13:00 CEST).
Prof. Zahra Kalantari, the 2025 Frontiers Planet Prize National Champion for Sweden, will participate in the session to share her insights and experiences from the international scientific competition.
