The International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), in collaboration with the U.N. International Day of Women and Girls in Science, is hosting the 6th edition of the Global Women’s Breakfast (GWB2025) on 11 February 2025, under the theme “Accelerating Equity in Science” in support of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ) celebration.
The goal of this event is to establish an active network of people -men and women- to overcome the barriers to gender equity in science. Over the last six years, nearly 2000 GWBs have been held in 100 countries
Organizations from all sectors of the scientific community—ranging from high schools and universities to research institutions, companies, and NGOs—are invited to participate in GWB2025. Event leaders are encouraged to collaborate across disciplines and sectors, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment for scientists from various fields to engage and share their expertise.
