In late 2019, the ISC Governing Board invited all ISC Members to submit suggestions for possible changes to the ISC Statutes and Rules of Procedure. A dedicated working group has reviewed the suggestions and developed a revised version. The proposed changes to the Statutes and Rules of Procedure have been grouped in four categories (please see document below).

Final versions of the proposed changes to the ISC Statutes and Rules of Procedure by Group, published after day 2 of the eGA (2 February 2021):

Election

The proposed changes to the ISC Statutes and Rules of Procedure, which ISC Members are invited to vote on during the extraordinary General Assembly in February 2021, have a potential impact on the role and composition of the Elections Committee. Most importantly, if the proposed changes are accepted, the Elections Committee will consist of nine (President + eight additional members) rather than five (President + four additional members) members. Furthermore, the Elections Committee will be required to provide ISC Members with two or three candidates per Governing Board position, rather than a whole slate without maximum.

In accordance with Rule of Procedure 2.7, and since the voting on the proposed changes to the Statutes and Rules of Procedure will be facilitated in parallel to the election of the 2021 Elections Committee during the extraordinary General Assembly in February 2021, ISC Members may elect their top four (in case the proposed changes to the Statutes are not approved) as well as top eight (in case the proposed changes to the Statutes are approved) candidates via the online voting above.
