As Europe faces a dramatic increase in large-scale wildfires, urgent policy action is needed to improve wildfire prevention and management. The new report by the European Academies Science Advisory Council (EASAC) explores critical options for developing fire-literate societies and creating the conditions for more resilient, fire-adapted communities.
The launch event is a hybrid meeting. Seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The event will be livestreamed on the EASAC YouTube channel starting from 10:30 UTC – please register for online participation to receive a reminder.
