This is the final of six social media training modules delivered over 2024-2025 designed for International Science Council Regional Focal Point for Asia and the Pacific Members to build capability in communicating science, digital storytelling and use of social media platforms. Speaker: James Fitzgerald

James Fitzgerald is Programme Director for Social Media Knowledge (SMK), a global EdTech business specializing in digital marketing and communication capability transformation. Now based in Australia, James possesses a wealth of social media experience, having founded two of the UK’s hottest social media knowledge businesses, The Social Media Academy and Social Media Library.

Q&A: Assoc. Prof. Haruka Sakamoto

Haruka SAKAMOTO, MD MPH, PhD is a primary care physician and Visiting Associate Professor at the Graduate School of Public Health, St Luke’s International University in Tokyo, Japan.

Her current research focuses on health system strengthening, health care financing, and politics in global health. She is currently working as a local consultant at the Gates Foundation and a senior manager at Health and Global Policy Institute.
