State of the Planet: Earth Day 2022 Event

22 April | 13:00 UTC | 15:00 CEST

On this Earth Day, the International Union of Geological Sciences (IUGS) invites world-leading environmental experts from a range disciplines to speak openly about their science and what it indicates about the current and future health of the Planet.

Through talks and a panel discussion, these environmental experts will explore how their discipline— on its own and in cooperation with other disciplines— can meet the sustainability needs of the future.

The event begins with a series of 10 short talks, followed by 40 minutes of panel discussions. Following this, attendees will be invited into breakout discussion rooms to chat to experts and share knowledge.
