Catarina Chagas is a Brazilian science journalist and communicator, working on scicomm practice and research for the past 17 years. She has edited websites, books, e-books and supported the development of exhibitions for science museums. She collaborates with the Brazilian National Institute for Public Communication of Science and Technology and, in 2018, developed content for a MOOC on research communications for early career researchers — a joint initiative by the Institute and the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation, also in Brazil. Catarina is now a University Relations staff member at Queen’s University, Canada.
