Corrine Almeida has been primarily dedicated to lecturing, as research opportunities, especially in oceanography, are scarce in her country. Since 2019, she has been the director of a master’s programme on Climate Change and Marine Sciences under the West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL). Actively engaged in biodiversity science and ocean education, she also runs a master’s school for West African students.
