Background

Dr. Shikha Singh completed a PhD titled “Role of biases in climate models in large-scale air-sea interaction”. Her research explores how the large-scale oceanic biases in the climate model affect the simulated interannual variability. She is also interested in simulations and model development of ODTM. She has examined the Mixed Layer variability and governing mechanisms in terms of mixing energetics in the Arabian Sea of the north Indian Ocean. She is currently interested in examining the various mixing parameters causing the deep-ocean biases in climate models.
