Sujatha Raman

Sujatha Raman is Professor and Director of Research at the Centre for Public Awareness of Science (CPAS), Australian National University (ANU). She leads the UNESCO Chair on Science Communication for the Public Good. Raman is interested in researching and fostering the forms of expertise needed to respond to planetary crises in light of diversity in how we know, value and order things. She has led and contributed to multiple transdisciplinary collaborations on science for environmental and energy transitions, and responsible innovation. She was previously director of the Leverhulme Research Programme, ‘Making Science Public’, led by the University of Nottingham (UK).
