The ISC is in the process of establishing a number of Regional Focal Points (RFP) to deepen our engagement with ISC Members in a regional context. The Regional Focal Points for Latin America and the Caribbean as well as for the Asia-Pacific region are already in operation, and the establishment of a Regional Focal Point for Africa is in progress.
In order to ensure the active participation of all ISC Members and affiliated bodies in the regional activities facilitated by the ISC Regional Focal points, it would be most helpful if ISC Members and affiliated bodies appointed a liaison within their organizations for each of the regions mentioned.
ISC Member organizations and affiliated bodies may appoint their focal points (who currently act as the global liaison to the ISC) to also be the liaison for the three regions; or Member organizations and affiliated bodies may wish to appoint individuals from their regional offices or regional chapters (if existent) or other individuals who wish to take up this role.
