As Communications Officer, Léa leads the development and execution of strategic communications campaigns, maximizing visibility and impact for ISC’s projects and products. As content lead, she manages a dynamic publishing schedule across all digital platforms, including social media, and oversees editorial content creation. Additionally, she pilots the ISC’s gender equality in science portfolio, working closely with scientists and partners to promote inclusive practices within scientific organizations.
Léa joined the ISC in February 2023. Previously, she worked as Communications Lead for I-DAIR (now HealthAI), a Geneva-based organization working to improve access of LMICs to research on digital health and AI for health. She started her career at UNESCO Paris, coordinating local and community radio projects in the Global South within the Section for Media Development, where she acted as Programme Coordinator and focal point for community media projects.
Her background is in International Relations and EU Affairs, with a Master’s degree from Sorbonne University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and speaks French, English, and (supposedly) German. In 2024, Léa graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology, focusing on health and social psychology, from Paris 8 University, which she completed while working full-time.
