The International Consortium of Research Staff Associations (ICoRSA) is excited to invite you for the Annual General Meeting 2024 that will take place in Lisbon on January 12 and 13, 2024, co-organized by ICorSA’s member associations ANICT and NInTec.
The two-day event will gather ICoRSA member associations and experts to discuss research precarity and sharing the latest developments and best-practices of its members. The first part of the AGM will be closed for members only in order to jointly discuss and plan ICoRSA’s future strategy. Another focus will be the election of the ICoRSA Board of Directors for the upcoming year. All nominations including self-nominations are welcome and must be submitted together with a letter of interest, emphasising your motivation to contribute to ICoRSA, to [email protected] no later than Friday, 5 January 2024. ICoRSA members have the right to vote and voting will take place during the AGM.
ICoRSA would like to invite all its members and partners to join the special afternoon sessions on “Addressing Researcher Career Precarity in Portugal: perspectives from EU countries”. The sessions gather experts from the OECD and European Commission to present reports on research precariat and including the latest initiatives on the European Framework for Research Careers and the Research and Innovation Careers Observatory. After this policy background, a roundtable discussion with experts and University representatives will follow to discuss specific examples of Tenure Programmes in Portugal and career formats with examples from Germany, Italy, and Spain.
These sessions are free of charge and open to all interested parties and participants.

The second day will be exclusively for ICoRSA’s member associations with a workshop and presentations on their latest developments and practices addressing research precarity.
