International scientific unions are the foundation that ICSU and global scientific endeavours are built upon. In its aim to strengthen international science, ICSU is investing more in building substantial links and research collaboration between its unions.
The grants programme intends to foster Membership engagement by addressing long-standing priorities for ICSU members in developing science education, outreach and public engagement activities, and to mobilise resources for international scientific collaboration.
It is a competitive, peer-reviewed programme that supports innovative collaborative scientific initiatives of relevance to science and society. The Grants Programme intends to facilitate active collaboration between Scientific Unions and other members of the ICSU community (for example ICSU Regional Offices, Interdisciplinary Bodies, Joint Initiatives, Networks etc).
Applications are now invited for the 2016 ICSU Grants Programme. Please note the Grants Programme is strictly reserved for ICSU Members and bodies.
The deadline for receipt of applications is 1 October 2016.
