ISC General Assembly 2021 will be held virtually

We were very much looking forward to meeting you in person at the ISC 2021 General Assembly in Muscat, Oman, and to convening the first-ever Global Knowledge Dialogue in Muscat, in partnership with The Research Council Oman and the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation of the Sultanate of Oman.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the ISC Governing Board has taken the decision to hold a virtual 2021 General Assembly from 11 – 15 October 2021, and to reschedule the Muscat Global Knowledge Dialogue to early 2023.

In addition, the ISC Governing Board cordially invites all ISC Members to participate in an extraordinary General Assembly, to be held virtually from 1 – 5 February 2021.

In order for the General Assembly to conduct its business effectively in October 2021, it will be important for ISC Members to vote on the proposed changes to the Statutes and Rules of Procedure and to elect the Elections Committee that will be responsible for advising on and managing the 2021 Governing Board nominations and election process in the frame of the extraordinary General Assembly.
