Black Gold of the Tropics

“Threats from climate change add to the growing obstacles facing coffee cultivation. Coffee is important to the Tropics as it represents a major trade commodity for developing countries in the region and will invariably impact their economic and sustainable development goals (SDGs). We want to bring attention to the plight of coffee growers while celebrating the richness coffee brings to our life.”

The International Science Council Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ISC ROAP) with the Mahathir Science Awards Foundation (MSAF) and the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) are pleased to invite you to Black Gold of the Tropics webinar on 1 October 2020, from 2.30pm-5.00pm (GMT+8). This webinar is a part of the “Future Belongs to the Tropics” webinar series, as a lead-up to the International Conference Tropical Sciences: Contributions to Sustainability 2021 in Kuala Lumpur.
