9th Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences

7 – 11 November 2021
Mexico City

The #CLACSO2021 edition will feature open and special panels with international guests and lectures and keynote dialogues with leading figures from political, academic and social fields, as well as training workshops, panels and roundtables. It should be noted that within the framework of this activity there will be an international social science and humanities book fair and an international film cycle, among other special events.

The Latin American and Caribbean Conference of Social Sciences is, since its first edition in 2003, the largest academic and political event of the Social Sciences and Humanities worldwide. In its eight previous editions, which accompanied the holding of the General Assemblies of the Council, various topics have been addressed depending on the political and social circumstances of the region. In 2021 the articulating axis of the Conference will be “The networks of inequalities”; and one of the main topics regards “Science, technology and society: knowledge and evaluation challenges”.
