A series of six UNESCO and U-INSPIRE Alliance virtual conversation on youth and young professionals in Science, Engineering, Technology and Innovation discussion on disaster risk reduction on the topics of:
1). Science, Engineering, Technology, and Innovation into action in DRR;
2). Knowledge Management for Resilience;
3). Early Warning System;
4). Built Environment and School Safety;
5). Disaster Risk Reduction for Heritage Sites (Natural and Cultural heritage, Biosphere reserve, and geoparks); and
6). Nature Based Solution for Disaster Risk Reduction
This virtual conversation will engage with prominent speakers from UNESCO and Youth and Young Professionals of U-INSPIRE Alliance members with the objectives to introduce UNESCO’s action in Disaster Risk Reduction, U-INSPIRE’s member activities on SETI for DRR, as well as to bring the voice of youth and young professionals initiatives in line with UNESCO’s Action in DRR, and to communicate science on DRR to public.
