The Standing Committee for Gender Equality in Science (SCGES) is an independent committee formed in 2020 by nine international scientific organizations, most of which are full ISC Members. Its aim is to ensure liaison among international scientific unions to foster gender equality in the scientific communities that the scientific unions represent.
Today, SCGES has twenty partners. They represent millions of scientists, brought together across disciplines to promote gender equality in science. One of SCGES’s priorities is to extend its partnership further among ISC International Union Members, and Associations affiliated with ISC.
The aim of this meeting is to present SCGES and its activities to unions and associations and to invite them to join it.
