G-STIC 2019

The ISC at the Global Sustainable Technology and Innovation Conference (G-STIC) 2019

5 ways to engage with the ISC and its activities
G-STIC 2019

1. Attend the ISC plenary session “Integrated technological solutions: Gaps and further research needs”

Day 3 (22 November 2019)

“Under the leadership of the International Science Council a panel of eminent scientists that attended G-STIC 2019 semi-plenary and deep dive sessions will present their findings and recommendations as they relate to major knowledge gaps and research needs of the integrated technological solutions and associated levers of change needed to bring them to the market at scale, discussed at G-STIC 2019.”

2. Join the discussion: Why we need a digital charter

The German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU), has joined forces with the International Science Council and other science organisations to draft a UN charter for a sustainable digital age. It is called “Our Common Digital Future” and can serve as the basis for global debate, involving scientists, decision-makers, community activists and citizens all over the world. Such debate must then lead to action.

You are invited to make your input by leaving a comment on the draft by 31 January 2020 here.

3. Work with us to advance science as a global public good

Our Action Plan 2019-2021 represents an ambitious programme of much-needed initiatives in four domains:
