This three-part event series has been designed to explore some of the priority topics of the Third International Summit on Human Genome Editing, to be held from, 6 – 8 March 2023.
The events have been organised by ISC Members, the UK Royal Society in partnership with the UK Academy of Medical Sciences, the US National Academies of Sciences and Medicine and The World Academy of Sciences.

- 7 March 13:40 – 16:00 UTC: Looking Ahead to the Science
- 8 March 14:00 – 16:00 UTC: Looking Ahead to the Equity & Access
- 9 March 14:00 – 17:00 UTC: Looking Ahead to the Governance (Presentations will include research on current regulatory frameworks and challenges for somatic and heritable editing. The session will also focus on the governance recommendations from the International Commission on the Clinical use of Heritable Human Genome Editing and the WHO Expert Advisory Committee on Developing Global Standards for Governance and Oversight of Human Genome Editing reports, and how these could be operationalized within nations and internationally.)
All three events will be live streamed and available to watch afterwards. No registration is needed. The sessions will consist of live and recorded presentations, followed by panel discussions with questions from the audience.
