In conjunction with International Mountain Day, the International Science Council (ISC) Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific (ROAP), the Mahathir Science Award Foundation (MSAF) and the Academy of Sciences Malaysia (ASM) are pleased to invite you to the Mountains and Life webinar. This free webinar is a part of the “Future Belongs to the Tropics” webinar series, as a lead-up to the International Conference Tropical Sciences: Contributions to Sustainability 2021 (TropSc) in Kuala Lumpur. 

Panellists from around the globe will discuss the importance of mountains in the Tropics in supporting life. From geology to biodiversity to indigenous knowledge and tourism, this webinar will encompass tropical mountains and life.
