In conjunction with World Ocean Day, Akademi Sains Malaysia, the Mahathir Science Award Foundation and the International Science Council, Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific will be organising a webinar themed Ocean Life and Livelihoods in the Tropics.

The Ocean makes up 76% of the Tropics. Join us as we discuss the priority areas for the Tropics in the UN Decade on Ocean Science as well as the following topics:

  • Climate Change
  • Blue Economy
  • Traditional Knowledge and Sustainable Livelihoods
  • Youth Perspective on Ocean Protection
