The Journée Mondiale de l’eau (JME) hosts its annual Water Photo Contest in honor of the most recent World Water Day.
An annual United Nations Observance, World Water Day takes place every year on March 22 to celebrate the important role of water and to raise awareness for those currently without access to safe water— an estimated 2 billion people. Central to the goal of the Day is to amplify and encourage action towards Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.
The Photo Contest is open from 22 March – 1 June and offer 3 tiers of prizes:
