Summer School on Space Research, Technology and Applications

For Young Scientists and PhD Students

The 2022 summer school on space research, technology and applications will be held in Bulgaria, in the period 3 – 10 July 2022. The school is supported by ISC affiliated body, the Scientific Committee on Solar-Terrestrial Physics (SCOSTEP) and the Karoll foundation.

PhD students and young scientists can apply for financial support until 30 April 2022. Both, on site and online participation is possible.

A versatile coverage of topics from theoretical astrophysics to engineering and computing have been pre-selected. Both lecturing and training sessions are intended for the participants distributed over one week. At the end of the school, each team will present the results from their practice led by an experienced mentor. In addition each participant is expected to present a short overview on their PhD topic during the dedicated PhD session.
