The side-event, ‘The CitiesIPCC Research and Action Agenda for effective urban responses to climate change’, will take place in the Pieniny Room at COP24 on 10 December 2018. It will be livestreamed, and a URL will be added to this page in the coming days.
The Research and Action Agenda is a primary output of the IPCC co-sponsored Cities and Climate Change science conference which took place in Edmonton, Canada, in March 2018. The Agenda presents key knowledge gaps jointly identified by the academic, practitioner and urban policy-making communities. It is intended to direct and stimulate knowledge generation that will underpin effective and efficient urban responses to climate change.
