The UN 2023 Water Conference, scheduled to take place from 22 to 24 March 2023, marks a midpoint in the implementation of the UN Water Decade which was launched in 2018 with the aim to promote sustainable development and integrated management of water resources, foster cooperation and partnerships at all levels and support the implementation of internationally agreed water-related goals and targets.
The Conference will feature an opening and closing ceremony, six plenary meetings and five multi-stakeholder interactive dialogues. It will also feature a number of high-level special events and side events organized by Member States, the UN system and other stakeholders. The full programme will soon be available here.
