The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters has been a member since 1922.

The Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters, which was founded in 1742, is a non-governmental organization. The Academy’s objective is to strengthen basic research in Denmark and to support and promote the understanding of interdisciplinary research. This is done through arranging meetings and publishing series, and through international cooperation and consultative activities.
