Slovenia, Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts (SASA)

The Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts has been a member since 2009.

The Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts was created in 1938 and organizes national and international scientific meetings, colloquia and round tables, covering practically all areas of the sciences, from the humanities and social sciences, to the natural sciences, technical sciences and biomedicine. SASA cooperates with other academies of science and arts and with other scientific and arts organizations abroad and makes arrangements for joint projects and their implementation. It has bilateral agreements with 37 foreign academies and is a member of a number of important international scientific bodies.
