Alessandra holds a BA in Social Sciences with a Major in Politics and Law and a specialization in Asian Studies from Sciences Po Paris. Originally from Italy, she is currently pursuing a MA in International Development in the same institution, where she returned after one year spent at the University of Edinburgh in the UK. Previously, she worked on a project with L’Oréal Group on the metaverse and human rights implications, where she familiarized with human rights approaches to tech and innovation. At the ISC she supports the Freedom and Responsibility in Science team and the Centre for Science Futures, working at the intersection of science and human rights, with a particular focus on emerging scientific and technological discoveries.
