Nadia Zakhary holds a B.Sc. (Biochemistry) from the faculty of Science, Ain Shams University, as well as M.Sc. and Ph.D. (Medical Biochemistry) from faculty of Medicine, Cairo University

  • Former Chair of the Cancer Biology department, NCI.
  • Visiting Professor at New York University, Manhattan, U.S.A.
  • Auditor and examiner for scientific programs, thesis and projects.
  • Supervised about 60 M.Sc., Ph.D. and M.D., and published 67 scientific papers concerned with etiological and protective agents against cancer, tumor markers and molecular changes.
  • Among the editorial board for many National and International scientific journals and conferences.
  • Teaching courses of biochemistry, proteomics and biotechnology course joined between Cairo University and Georgia Univ., U.S.A.
  • Member of many National and International scientific organizations, including:
    • New York Academy of Science.
    • Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology
    • The Egyptian National Council for Women
    • The committee of Policies of Education and Scientific Research (ASRT)

  • Shared in charitable caravans and public education for early detection of breast cancer and nutrition.
  • I was ranked by FORBES (2013) as the first most influential women in the Egyptian government, and the 16th among the Arab world.
  • Offered prize of environmental studies, Cairo University and many other awards.
