Olanike Adeyemo is a COMSTECH Distinguished scholar and the Pioneer Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research, Innovation and Strategic Partnerships), University of Ibadan, Ibadan (2017-2021).
She initiated One Health research in Nigeria within the domains of environmental health, food safety, anti-microbial resistance, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases with findings that provide credible evidence on the complex linkage between Environmental, Animal and Human Health with significant policy implication for the African Continent and indeed the world.
Olanike is a Senior Fellow of Aspen New Voices Fellowship and has participated extensively in science-policy, science-diplomacy, Science-communication and science-society interactions in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
She is an internationally recognized scientist being an elected Fellow of Academies of Science(s): Nigerian Academy of Science, African Academy of Sciences, The World Academy of Sciences.
