Involvement at the ISC

Background

Ronit returned to Australia and joined the ISC Regional Focal Point for Asia and the Pacific after sixteen years abroad in a variety of senior science diplomacy roles. Most recently, Ronit served as the Director of the British Government’s Science and Innovation Network in the USA, where she and her team of science attachés were responsible for the UK-US bilateral relationship on science and technology policy.

Ronit has degrees in Genetics, English Literature and French from the University of Melbourne, and a master’s from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

She was a 2022 Senior Executive Fellow at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government, is a Fellow of the Centre for Science and Policy at Cambridge University and an awarded member of the Royal Society of Biology, the Institute of Science and Technology and the Institute of Environmental Sciences.
