The Surface Ocean – Lower Atmosphere Study (SOLAS) project is an international research initiative aiming to understand the key biogeochemical-physical interactions and feedbacks between the ocean and atmosphere. With members and projects across the world’s oceans, the SOLAS scientific community is composed of scientists from many disciplines, such as oceanography, ecology, biogeochemistry, physics, chemistry, and atmospheric sciences.
The aim of the SOLAS Indian Ocean Meeting is to present and discuss current, ongoing, and planned SOLAS research and initiatives taking place in the Indian Ocean and help forge collaborations.
