Dr. Tracey Elliott

Involvement at the ISC

• Tracey Elliott was a Senior Consultant at the ISC.

Background

Working with colleagues in the Global Young Academy (GYA) and InterAcademy Partnership (IAP), Tracey coordinated the GYA-IAP-ISC initiative on Research Evaluation which run until 2023. She was previously the Project Director for IAP’s study Combatting Predatory Academic Journals and Conferences, which reported in March 2022.  Tracey has directed other major studies for IAP (2017-2019), as well as providing ad hoc advice for the European Academies’ Science Advisory Council (EASAC) and supporting early work on the refugee crisis (2016) with the GYA.

Formerly the Head of International at the Royal Society (2008-2015) and Head of Global S&T Partnerships for the UK Government (2004-2008), Tracey has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a PhD in Biological Anthropology.
