Aleta is a communications professional with 30 years of experience in the media, science, university and government sectors supported by a working knowledge in media as a television and radio news producer/reporter, a media adviser to state and federal politicians and director of the media support unit at the Australian Department of Defence.
With a passion for communicating research to inform decisions for a more sustainable future, she has gravitated towards roles at the intersection of science, conservation, innovation, and impact for the global good. Most recently she has been working with world-leading marine scientists to amplify research with a focus on sustainable solutions to mitigate the impacts of climate change.
