AI for science institutes, current efforts, lessons learned and outlook on the future

The discussion will be based on the key conclusions from the following two reports:

1. SAM: Successful and timely uptake of artificial intelligence in science in the EU, (Evidence Review Report and the Scientific Opinion)
2. ISC: Preparing National Research Ecosystems for AI: Strategies and progress in 2024 (pdf link)

In this webinar the following questions will be addressed: What would a ‘centralized AI Centre’ look like and what are its advantages/disadvantages? Do some countries already have centralized AI Centres? What are the differences regarding that from a regional perspective?
