This second roundtable is a continuation of the first roundtable of ISC unions and associations in early June on the issue of fundraising and obtaining funds through different sources of income.
Most ISC unions and associations are seeking opportunities to increase their income to be able to increase staff, enhance activities, and broaden their membership, but lack capacity, knowledge and funds to do active fundraising.
We will explore the many different funding strategies, how the open access model stands in relation to the fact that many unions and associations rely on revenue from journals and other publications, as well as the question of ethics in fundraising and investments as sources of income.
All ISC focal points, Presidents, executive council members and other representatives of ISC unions and associations are welcome to attend.
Indicated times refer to UTC.
