It’s no surprise many staff at science organisations are experimenting with generative AI, given their situation and its promise.
But managing people using generative AI in their work isn’t easy. It may present an opportunity for them to innovate, increase their impact, expand their reach, and better serve stakeholders. But its use also creates risks. Organizational managers and leaders must answer some complex questions to be able to balance the potential of AI with its risks:
The International Science Council has, since 2022 been actively supporting its members in their journeys to digital maturity. This 1.5 hour workshop continues that process, supporting managers and leaders at the organizational level as they engage with AI and how it can be used by their staff and stakeholders.

Due to its interactive nature, the workshop is limited to 25 participants at a time and is available on a first come, first served basis.
All staff members, office bearers and representatives of an ISC Member organization, as well as ISC Fellows, are invited to register, with a limit of one person per organization.
The workshop will be facilitated twice so that all individuals in all time zones have an opportunity to attend.
