The policy briefs will be presented at the Science and Policy Forum on 13 and 14 May in Geneva, providing insights from disaster risk reduction experts to science partners, Ministries of Science, scientific advisors and stakeholders, to enhance their understanding of the Sendai Framework and its connections to the SDGs and other agreements.
The policy briefs also highlight as the importance of ensuring disaster data archives are standardised to maximise the valuable opportunities to acquire better information about the health, economic, ecological and social costs of disasters.
