30th General Assembly of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics (IUPAP)

The 30th General Assembly of the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics, having been postponed with the consent of IUPAP’s members from October 2020 to October 2021, will commence on 20th October 2021 at 1000 UTC and continue until 22nd October 2021 at 1300 UTC.

This is a very important meeting for IUPAP. As well as its usual business, the 30th GA will be asked to adopt a new set of Statutes and By Laws. We also expect that the new strategic and action plan will be adopted and that the creation of two new affiliated commissions and a working group will be approved. These very important decisions will shape the actions of our Union into its second century of existence.
