Future Earth and Belmont Forum are joining forces to establish a landmark congress in which the world’s foremost research and innovation communities come together to share successes, exchange views, and work across disciplines and sectors to support a global transformation to sustainability. The inaugural event Sustainability Research and Innovation (SRI2020) will be held in Brisbane, Australia, on 14-17 June 2020.
The call for session proposals will open on 30 September 2019.
The event will provide an annual venue for connecting, sharing research and experience, creating new global transdisciplinary and cross-sectorial networks, and building capacity in understanding, co-developing, and co-implementing sustainable solutions. The aim of the SRI conference series is to design a dynamic and transformative community-led event, powered by the world’s leading sustainability scholars and practitioners.
To make SRI2020 a success, the Future Earth and Belmont Forum Secretariat need feedback and insight from the communities they serve. Join the SRI2020 webinars on 18 September 12:00 ET and 20:00 ET to ask questions and to contribute to this exciting initiative at an early stage.
