The International Society for Porous Media (InterPore) is a non-profit-making independent scientific organization established in 2008. With a steadfast commitment to advancing and sharing knowledge, InterPore provides a platform for the exchange of knowledge essential for the understanding, description, and modelling of natural and industrial porous media systems.
InterPore’s 16th Annual Meeting will be held in Qingdao, China from 13 to 16 May 2024. This gathering promises to be a forum of intellectual discourse, centred around the thematic core of “Porous Media & Biology”, and topics discussed will also include the occurrence and applications of biology in living organs, plants, and in medicine, as well as in soil and gas reservoirs. The program will encompass a rich tapestry of disciplines, including theories, (bio)physics, experiments, imaging, mathematics, and modelling.
