In the interconnected world, achieving SDG17: Partnership for the Goals is vital to creating a shared sustainable future, and this is an endeavour that must be undertaken together. WFWS-2024 brings together diverse voices of all genders from around the world to engage in dialogue and knowledge-sharing. Beginning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the importance of ethical approaches, transnational collaboration, and science as a tool for diplomacy and positive change is emphasized. Join this event to explore how through global cooperation, science can bring about a more equitable, sustainable and united future.
This event is organised by Women In Science Without Borders and Traces&Dreams in collaboration with Fondazione Musica per Roma / Festival delle Scienze.
From Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 April 2024, the virtual halls of the World Forum for Women in Science (WFWS) 2024 echoed with the collective voices of trailblazing women in STEM. Amidst pixels and screens, this online conference became a nexus for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and empowerment. Through live-streamed talks, interactive workshops, and virtual networking, participants from diverse backgrounds and disciplines came together to address the challenges and opportunities facing women in science.

The networking event in Rome will allow to consolidate and enlarge a growing global community, and enhance dialogue and collaboration between the Global North and the Global South. Discussions will revolve around global partnerships, science diplomacy, gender equality, the contribution of science, and the future. The event will be at the Parco della Musica. It will include presentations, networking, a closing panel and a gala dinner in the evening. It is free and it is part of the Festival delle Scienze. More details to be shared soon.
