Finland, Council of Finnish Academies

The Council of Finnish Academies has been a member since 1931.

The Council of Finnish Academies (established in 1976 as the Delegation of the Finnish Academies of Science and Letters) is a joint organ of The Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, the Finnish Society of Sciences and Letters, the Finnish Academy of Technology and The Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences in Finland. The Council acts in close collaboration with ISC and its member organizations, as well as with other international scientific institutions. It promotes interdisciplinary scientific activities and discussions at national level as well.
