The Academy of Sciences for the Developing World (TWAS) is inviting nominations for its TWAS-Celso Furtado Prize for Social Sciences 2013.
The prize will be awarded to a scientist who has made an outstanding contribution in both understanding and addressing social sciences disciplines and who has worked and lived in a developing country for at least ten years immediately prior to his/her nomination.
Nominations are invited from all TWAS members as well as science academies, national research councils, universities and scientific institutions in developing and developed countries. More information about the prize and the nomination procedure are here.
