Dr. Connie Nshemereirwe is a Ugandan-based Science & Policy Advisor, and is currently the Director of the Africa Science Leadership Programme, which is based at the Future Africa campus of the University of Pretoria. She is active at the science and policy interface as a science writer, trainer & speaker, and is a former co-chair of the Global Young Academy. She is an educator by training and has engaged extensively around the issue of the quality and relevance of education systems in Africa. She is the host of the podcast A is not for Apple, which is produced by the Sweden-based TracesDreams.
