Eric Goosby has been on the faculty at UCSF since the 1980s. He is currently a member of the Biden Covid-19 Advisory Board, a Member of the California Scientific Safety Review Workgroup, and serves on the San Francisco Dept. of Public Health, Policy Group for the COVID-19 Response.
Eric Goosby is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and the Council on Foreign Relations. He is Board Chair of the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative and is a member of the Advisory Board to the Director of NIH, Fogarty International NIH, the Clinton Foundation, Elton John Foundation, and Advisory/Guideline Boards for UNAIDS, WHO TB office, and WHO HIV office. He remains active as an advisor to the U.K. Antimicrobial Resistance Initiative and numerous Government Ministries of Health and Schools of Public Health in Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, and Eastern Europe.
