Miia originally joined ICSU, one of ISC’s predecessor organizations, in 2013 to support the early implementation of Future Earth. In her current role, Miia supports the ISC executive management and the ISC Governing Board as well as the work of the Committee on Freedom and Responsibility of Science (CFRS). Her experience ranges from coordinating international programmes, projects and large-scale events to administering sales and customer relations for multinational corporations. She holds a MSc in Health Sciences.
